Sanford, Fl (WAOK)-George Zimmerman, the man facing second degree murder charges in the death of Trayvon Martin is out of a Florida jail on 150-thousand-dollars bond.
Zimmerman was released around midnight after his attorney Mark O’Mara and the prosecution worked out a deal to take him to an undisclosed location.
Zimmerman has admitted he shot Trayvon Martin who was unarmed, but Zimmerman says he shot the teen in self defense on Feb 26th. More on this latest development in one of the most watched cases in the nation from CBS News
As part of the bond deal Zimmerman must wear a GPS monitor and stick to a curfew. The start of the actual trial could be a year away.
