SUWANEE – (WAOK/AJC) – Police say a shooting suspect, may have gravely wounded himself, after a standoff in Suwanee. Police say the unidentified man is suspected of shooting two women in Barrow County during a domestic incident, in Auburn, which occurred earlier in the day on Monday. Investigators say police caught up with the suspect at his home on Scales Road, but that he shot himself, after barricading himself inside the house, as SWAT teams were negotiating with him to surrender. It’s unclear what led to the gunfire, and what the relationship is with the two wounded women, who investigators say suffered critical injuries in the shooting.
