Things did not work out well for Isiah Thomas at Florida International. After winning just 26 games in three seasons, the Hall of Fame player has been fired. His final record was 26-65.

Thomas signed a five-year deal with FIU, taking nothing in base salary for his first season and agreeing to take a cut of gross ticket revenues as well as commissions collected on food and beverage concessions. This past season the school averaged just 1,071 fans per home game.
