Well… Well… Well… Here’s another dirty little secret from the profession football brotherhood also known as the National Football League.
According to the good folks over at MediaTakeOut.com and several other news sources ex Arizona Cardinal Eric Green will have to pay a $160,000 judgment after a transgender woman named Angelina Mavila who was born a man brought the charges against Green.
According to court documents Angelina Mavilia met Eric Green in a Scottsdale, Ariz., casino in early 2009. Angelina Mavilia then stated they went back to his condo, where Green, assaulted her, she charges.
Mavilia reported to police that Green was “extremely agitated and threatening,” according to court documents, and warned: “This never happened. You’d better not tell.”
Angelina Mavilia has filed suit against the police that took the report. Angelina Mavila claims she was mocked and teased by the police. Mavila said the female officer that checked her for physical evidence shouted out “its a girl” upon seeing her gender reassignment surgery.
Eric Green spent his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers, he is currently a cornerback for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League.
