Peyton Manning has found a new team.
The agent for the free-agent quarterback is handling contract negotiations that will make the four-time MVP a member of the Denver Broncos. Agent Tom Condon has spent Monday working out parameters of a deal expected to be worth about $95 million over five years. Manning was wooed to Denver by Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway, who led the Broncos to two Super Bowl championships and now serves as their vice president of football operations.
The addition of Manning could well lead to the trade of Tim Tebow, who took over as the starter midway through the season and led the Broncos to the playoffs despite his uneven play.
