Is Dwyane Wade the dirtiest player in the NBA?
That’s the question I was asking after doctors confirmed that Kobe has not only a broken nose but also suffered a concussion after a hard foul during Sunday’s 61st NBA All-Star Game.
Bryant is currently listed as day-to-day and he likely won’t play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bryant has to be cleared under the NBA’s new concussion policy before he can return.
After Sunday’s game here’s Wade’s excuse for what happened, “Kobe fouled me two times in a row, so he’s still got one up on me.”
Well let me take you back to Game 3 Heat-Celtics… Wade frustrated with the defense Rajon Rondo was playing tangled his legs around Rondo’s and took him down with a very hard foul; as a result the speedy Celtics’ guard suffered a dislocated shoulder and was never the same during the series that the Heat ended up winning.
I believe in playing hard but when your recklessness becomes your M.O. it’s a problem.
Not sure if Wade was sending a message to Kobe but one thing’s for sure this Sunday when the Lakers host the Heat don’t be surprised to see some very physical play.
Wade should look up the “Black Mamba” and understand what he could possibly be in for Sunday night.
