The “Oregonian” reports Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden has undergone microfracture surgery on his knee and will miss the entire season.
The Trail Blazers’ former number-one overall draft pick was originally scheduled to undergo an arthroscopic procedure on Monday to remove debris from his left knee. It was then determined there was enough additional damage to require microfracture surgery.
Oden has not appeared in an NBA game since the 2009-10 season.
