Rajon Rondo registered a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds as the Celtics beat the Derrick Rose-less Bulls, 95-91.
Rose missed his second straight game with back spasms.
Kevin Garnett helped out with 13 points and 12 boards for Boston, which snapped a two-game slide. JuJuan Johnson added 12 points off the bench for the Celtics.
Carlos Boozer totalled 22 points and seven caroms for the Bulls in defeat. C.J. Watson also posted 22 points with six assists for Chicago, which had won five in-a-row. Joakim Noah chipped in with 16 points and nine rebounds in the setback.
