ATLANTA – (Georgia Lottery) A winning jackpot ticket was sold in southwest Atlanta! Chevron Food Mart, 5851 Buffington Road, sold Tuesday night’s winning Mega Millions jackpot ticket worth $71 million. Winning numbers from the drawing were: 10-22-24-36-49 and the Mega Ball was 33. In October, another metro Atlanta resident claimed a Powerball jackpot prize. Kathy Scruggs won $25 million in the Sept. 14 Powerball drawing after trying to purchase a Mega Millions ticket. Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
