Private Investigator Has Questions About Stacey English Case
ATLANTA (WAOK/AJC)-He was the lead investigator on the Natalee Holloway case. Now he is helping the parents of Stacey Nicole English in the search for their daughter. English has been missing since December 26. Her Volvo was found with it’s engine running on the parking lot of a Lakewood library and mini police precinct station early on December 27. Stacey English has now been missing more than three weeks.
“There’s some strange stuff in this case,” said private investigator T.J. Ward.
Strangest of all: the lack of any significant leads. On Monday and Tuesday, Atlanta police, and Georgia State Patrol divers, conducted a search of Lakewood Fairgrounds Lake, but found nothing.
Police have also questioned a St. Louis man thought to be the last person to see English and again the result has yielded no leads.
“At this time, there is no evidence linking Robert Kirk to the disappearance of Ms. English or reason to believe he was involved in any foul play related to her disappearance,” APD spokesman Carlos Campos said.
Meantime the family of Stacey English continues to work to get the word out about their daughter’s disappearance. There is a five thousand dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
