Martin Luther King III Steps Down As King Center President

Today Martin Luther King III, son of Martin Luther King Jr., has announced his resignation as being the King Center President. In a statement, King says he will remain an active member of the King Center board of trustees, but will devote most of his efforts towards launching a new organization dedicated to the principles of nonviolence, social justice and human rights. Many people, including Rev. Joseph E. Lowery, are shocked and sadden by the news. Click below to hear more on this story.
