Georgia tight end Orson Charles is entering the NFL draft.
Charles announced Wednesday that he’s foregoing his final year of eligibility with the Bulldogs and while he hasn’t hired an agent yet the junior tight end says there’s no way he’s returning for another season.
The Mackey Award finalist had 45 catches for nearly 600 yards and five touchdowns this season for the 10-4 SEC East Champion Bulldogs he also leaves as the school’s all-time leader in receiving yards for a tight end with 1,370.
Charles says he’s accomplished his goals for college and now it’s time to make a splash in the NFL.
