Falcons’ owner Arthur Blank is once again disappointed in his team’s postseason performance saying yesterday that the team is “not where we need to be,” but having to replace both defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder and offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey may help.

The 10-6 Falcons were humiliated last Sunday by the New Giants 24-2, leaving the team 0-3 in postseason play under GM Thomas Dimitroff and head coach Mike Smith in four seasons.

Blank says new coordinators should provide fresh perspectives on players and schemes. Blank says “that will be healthy for us this year.”
