If this rematch from earlier in the regular season is as boring as the first game I’m sure I’ll be taking naps throughout tonight’s all-SEC matchup as LSU and Alabama face off for the BCS National Championship at the Superdome.

The #1 ranked Tigers and 2nd ranked Crimson Tide meet for the second time this season.

LSU knocked off Alabama 9-6 in overtime November 5th in Tuscaloosa.

The Tigers are looking to complete the perfect season as they enter the title game 13-and-0, including 8-and-0 in SEC play.

The Crimson Tide is seeking revenge for their only loss of the season.  They are 11-and-1 overall and 7-and-1 in SEC action.

The SEC has had five straight BCS champions, including one each by LSU and Alabama.

‘Bama leads the all-time series 45-25-and-5.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban says the Crimson Tide’s past contest with LSU was a whole different football game and he doesn’t see it having an effect on this game.
