The Atlanta Hawks have confirmed that Hawks’ Forward Marvin Williams, who sprained his left ankle in Saturday night’s victory over the Chicago Bulls did not travel with the team for their brief 2 game road trip that starts tonight in New Jersey and wraps Wednesday in Indiana.

Williams is currently averaging 10.9ppg through nine games; in two games this season versus New Jersey he’s averaging 12.5ppg.

The Hawks currently winners of two in a row defeated tonight’s opponents in their season opener on Dec. 27th 106-70 and three days later the Hawks defeated the Nets 105-98.

The Hawks led by Joe Johnson who’s currently averaging a team 16.3ppg look to take their win streak to three in a row tipoff tonight from the Prudential Center is scheduled for 7:30pm.
