Civil rights leaders and members of the African-American clergy are launching the “Occupy the Dream” project. Occupy the Dream organizers say the movement plans to address income inequality and economic injustice through the revitalization and activism of the Black church community. The group’s first major action is scheduled for January 16th of course that is the day we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Occupy the Dream is asking people to leave crutches and other related help items at Federal Reserve offices around the country to demonstrate symbolically how financial institutions are disabling residents and the economy. The movement is Led by Dr. Benjamin Chavis Jr. and Dr. Jamal Bryant
