GAINESVILLE, Ga. (CBS Atlanta) — Two Gainesville burglars were caught sleeping on the job.

Hall County authorities arrested Kenneth Dwayne Lee, 33, and April Lynn Morris, 38, Wednesday morning after taking a nap inside a home they decided to burglarize.

The property owner called police after noticing a suspicious vehicle in the driveway, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office report.

When authorities arrived on the scene, deputies say they found Lee and Morris asleep in a bedroom.

Before lying down to take a nap, authorities say Lee and Morris left the items to steal by a doorway for when they woke up.

Both have been charged with burglary and are being held without bond at the Hall County Jail.

It’s hard out here being a thief, so we’ll take a nap and when we wake up will resume to stealing and making a leisurely get away..The power of white skin privilege when it comes to committing crimes and taking your time with getting away, all under the assumption you will not be caught..It must be nice to have white skin privilege
