Los Angeles will have to wait on Chris Paul at least for now.

Neil Olshey the General manager of the Clippers said a proposed deal by the New Orleans Hornets for the All-Star guard was rejected by the Clippers organization because the team felt they were being ask to part with more players than they were willing to give up.

Nether team has indicated if the deal is completely dead or not.

The Clippers were reportedly offering center Chris Kaman, guard Eric Bledsoe, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and their No. 1 pick in the 2012 NBA draft.

However the Hornets were said to want both Eric Gordon and the draft pick in addition to Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and Eric Bledsoe.

If you’re counting this makes the second team in five days that have withdrawn their offer for the All-Star Point Guard.
