At the winter meetings in Dallas, the Miami Marlins are making a serious run for the No. 1 free agent on the market, Albert Pujols.
The Marlins, who already have reached deals with shortstop Jose Reyes and closer Heath Bell in this offseason, reportedly have offered the three-time NL MVP a 10-year deal worth around $200 million and St. Louis made its own bid to retain Pujols yesterday.
