Atlanta Listeners Donate Generously To Help Hosea Feed The Hungry
Atlanta, (WAOK)-V-103, WAOK and State Farm teamed up with Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless at two Kroger locations (3479 Memorial Dr., Decatur; 950 Herrington Rd., Lawrenceville) Tuesday to fight against hunger and poverty as communities around the world approach the holiday season.
And by the end of the 14-hour effort, comedian Joe Clair had stopped by in Lawrenceville before his Uptown Comedy Corner performances; Shawty Lo unloaded a Cadillac of canned goods and turkeys in Decatur; B.o.B. marked his birthday by donating a $10,000 check
while hundreds of listeners who don’t get invited to the Grammys – included a 9-year-old named Sequoiua, who said she was homeless, but STILL donated $1.12 – added to the food collection boxes in the front of the stores, and the financial bottom line of Hosea Feed The Hungry & Homeless.
HERE IS AN UPDATE on the amount raised.
