Atlanta (WAOK)-GOP White House hopeful Herman Cain makes a stop at the Capitol Wednesday. Cain is scheduled to speak to the Congressional Healthcare Caucus. Herman Cain has been busy this week batting down allegations of sexual harassment from his days as head of the National Restaurant Association back in the 1990’s. Now the attorney representing one of the women who accused the Republican Presidential hopeful of sexual harassment is speaking out. Joel Bennett tells CNN his client may ask the National Restaurant Association to be released from a confidentiality agreement. Bennett says his client wants to tell her side of the story.
Bennett’s client is one of two former female employees of the National Restaurant Association reportedly given settlements after accusing Cain of inappropriate behavior. The woman is now a federal government employee. Cain headed the restaurant association between 1996 and 1999. He denies the accusations. Earlier this week Cain cancelled a speech he was scheduled to deliver here in Atlanta
