Terrell Owens tried to demonstrate yesterday that he’s ready to resume his NFL career, but no teams had scouts on hand to witness his workout. 

The 37-year-old receiver is an unsigned free agent after surgery for a torn ACL in April.  “T.O.” ran some drills and caught passes in a workout that was televised on both ESPN and NFL Network. 

Agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN that the workout should spark some interest and he plans to send tapes of the workouts to all 32 teams.  The six-time Pro Bowler had 983 receiving yards and nine touchdowns for the Bengals last season.

Carolina, Oakland, Tennessee, Denver, Cincinnati, and Arizona are six teams that could use the services of Owens immediately.

As he stated yesterday, “It only takes one team”…
