Hosea Feed The Hungry Dinner Moves To New Location

ATLANTA (WAOK)-It’s a new day for the Hosea Feed the Hungry organization. Elizabeth and Ofemi Omilami announced the dinner event series that will be 41 years old this year will be moving to a new location. The HFTH Thanksgiving dinner that is known for feeding thousands of people from all walks of life will leave Turner Field home of the Atlanta Braves and move to the Georgia World Congress Center. Elisabeth Omilami spoke to supporters, board members and corporate partners via cell phone from her hospital bed where she is suffering from pneumonia, thanking those in attendance for their past support of the organization.

Ofemi Omilami then issued a challenge to Atlanta residents to help HFTH raise $125 thousand to cover the costs of the 4 dinners the organization puts on every year: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King’s Birthday and Easter.
