Looking Back On Haiti
It’s been over a year since Haiti was hit with a powerful earth quake, and many residents are still struggling to survive and rebuild their community. Only five percent of the rubble has been removed from the city, and over a million people still remain homeless. Although there are still hundreds of non-governmental organizations in the country that are assisting the Haitians with daily survival, reconstruction of the country is very slow. Resources and donations have slowly stopped coming and the Haitian government is losing control. To get more information on the situation in Haiti, Bev Smith talks to politician, Dr. Ron Daniels, who is a strong supporter of getting Haiti back on track. This is a rebroadcast of the Bev Smith Show. The Bev Smith Show will officially end on October 28, 2011.
