Makeovers For Breast Cancer Survivors

The Weave Shop Salon along with the Sisters’ Network are partnering to offer makeovers to a select number of breast cancer survivors.
To be considered, you must submit an essay explaining why the survivor should be recognized as one of the community’s unsung heroines by helping to enhance her beauty, both inside and out. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so together, founder of The Weave Shop, Latonya Saunderson, and local Sisters’ Network President, April Love believed this to be the best way to highlight the women who’ve overcome this dangerous disease. The event will be held Monday, October 10th at the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, located on N. Highland Avenue. There’s still time to submit your essays for the deserving survivor of your choice.
