On today’s Powertalk w/ Lorraine Jacques White, we tackled the gamut of conversation rounding out issues in education, politics and entertainment. To help us in our discussion, we had a few special guests on the show. Listen to what they had to say:

ENTERTAINMENT – Don Lemon on the Michael Jackson Trial

You can watch Don Lemon report live from the trial on CNN.

POLITICS – Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick on his new book Surrendered: The Rise, Fall & Revelation of Kwame Kilpatrick

  1. SABA says:

I’m so glad that Mr. Kilpatrick has learned from his mistakes and is working on doing something positive with his considerable talents. I particularly liked his proposal for reforming the prison education system because it is sorely needed. I also appreciate the fact that he didn’t want to be a preacher and start a mega church – we have more than enough preachers and not enough true teachers in our community. I wish him much success with his endeavors and glad that he was able to keep his family intact – his wife sounds like a remarkable woman.
