TVD: I’m Shocked
I'm Allison, your Georgia Girl. I am a 22 year-old who just graduated from college and I am ready to start my life! After years, and years of school, hours and hours of classes, and late night after late night of studying I am finito and am excited for what lies ahead. I am a born Atlantan and moved all the way to Athens to go to school at the University of Georgia. Definitely the best four years of my life as of today, but now that I'm back in Atlanta, I cannot wait to reacquaint myself with all the things this city has to offer.
WARNING: There are spoiler alerts below
One of my absolute most favorite shows is The Vampire Diaries. The reason is quite simple: hot guys and a storyline that has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I love constantly being surprised and kept guessing. So far the season has started out with a real bang (or should I say “fang”… I crack myself up).
The inseparable duo of Stefan and Elena are finally… well… separated and I couldn’t be happier. The forbidden love between Damon and Elena has always held a presence in the series, but with Stefan away, hopefully Damon will play. We even got a little taste of this in the last episode. I swear Damon and Elena’s lips were so dangerously close that I wish I had been in the room so I could have just pushed them together. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. I mean, COME ON, we all feel bad for Damon. He’s always second best next to his martyred brother. I’m ready for this bad boy to finally get what he wants. Hopefully the writers will throw us a bone and give us something a little steamy in the future.
I do have one question. Where the heck is Bonnie?!?!? I am ready for her to be back in the show. Kat Graham is so fierce; I’m ready for her to bring some of her real life awesomeness to her character. Plus, Jeremy obviously needs her. This show is filled with all kinds of supernatural beings with vampires, werewolves, and witches in the mix, but now they are throwing in a new spice: ghosts. I have a feeling not only Jeremy’s mind is about to be blown with these new possibilities. Who knew ghosts could break glass? I guess we have a lot to learn.
Currently, my only advice for the show is directed at the hair and makeup crew: please, please, PLEASE cut Damon’s hair. It’s getting past the point of a mullet. EWWWWW!!! (and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way – I looked it up on Twitter!!!) That’s just so 80’s. And while you’re at it, give Alaric a few snips as well.
If you saw the last episode, I’m sure your first three words as the credits began to roll were the same as mine: OMG!!!!!!!!!!! This new mystery man is…CAROLINE’S DAD?!?! And he STILL wants to kill her? I cannot freaking wait to see what’s to come next Thursday night!
