Baseball home run king Barry Bonds will find out his fate just before the Christmas holiday season.
According to the “San Jose Mercury News,” a U.S. District Judge has scheduled Bonds’ sentencing on his obstruction of justice charge for December 16th.
A jury convicted the former Giants slugger in April of giving evasive answers to questions about alleged past steroid use.
The U.S. attorney’s office is still deciding whether to retry Bonds on three counts of perjury that resulted in a hung jury.
