At last we have diversity all over DC, not just in Congress. Now when will we get jobs with decent pay so we can take our families to the King Memorial on a short vacation???

I will not be going to Dr King’s memorial as I have not visited any memorials in the nation’s capital and have no plans to do so now or anytime in the future..I feel that Dr King would not have wanted that money sent to China for a “made in China” product, made by Chinese workers, material and put together in a black city with high unemployment in that particular demographic..We have these black mis-leadership class leading this circus to DC shelling out more of our money to people who does not look like us for a party and to rub elbows with the rich and famous…I don’t care about him standing in the presence of these so called “white founding fathers”, those founding fathers need to bow their heads and sling away in shame for what they did to the sons and daughters of Africa, who built this western hemisphere and are the source of residual wealth for the moneyed elites of the world…

The unveiling of the King’s monument in DC will serve two main purposes. First, it will be a chance for the who’s who among the “Black Community” to rub elbows with each other and bask in the numerous photo opportunities and interviews with major cable networks. Second, it will provide some re-affirmation that “Black Leaders” can still draw a crowd of people together, thus justifying their continued relevancy on the national stage.

From what I understand, with the exception of the unveiling of the monument on the mall in DC, every other event that weekend cost money, and lots of it. It begs the question, is this a ceremony to honor Dr. King or a money making event? You be the judge.
