ATLANTA (WAOK)-There is good news for cancer patients in the Southeast. The Illinois based Cancer Treatment Centers of America will soon open a $150 million facility here.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America will open a new 50 bed facility in Newnan. It is expected to be open by September 2012. The Cancer Treatment Centers of America offers a more holistic approach to cancer treatment, incorporating chemo therapy along with exercise, diet and nutrition into a total body approach to treating disease. Right now people fly from all over the country to get treatment at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America other four locations in Chicago, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Tulsa. The new cancer hospital is expected to provide up to 500 jobs.
