Cracker Barrel Victim Sentenced in Attack on Another Woman

ATLANTA (WAOK)- The Jonesboro woman who was the victim of an attack by a white man at a Morrow Cracker Barrel restaurant in 2009 was back in court Friday, this time being sentenced herself for attacking another woman.

37 yr old Tasha Hill pleaded no contest to the charge and was sentenced to 12 months probation, 64 hours of community service and was ordered to enroll in anger management classes.

Hill, an African-American Army reservist, was arrested last month after she and another woman in her Hampton neighborhood got into a fight over a man both were dating. Hill was already out on bond on a separate disorderly conduct arrest stemming from a June 2010 incident when she was arrested last month.

Back in Sept. 2009 Troy West was sentenced for attacking and beating Hill in front of her daughter at the Morrow Cracker Barrell after Hill said he almost hit her daughter with the door when he was leaving the restaurant. West acepted a plea deal to a misdemeanor and served 43 days in jail.
