New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano was the winner of last night’s 2011 Home Run Derby, beating Boston first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.

Cano, making his derby debut hit a final round-record 12 long balls INCLUDING this walk off shot to seal the deal.

The AL hit a record 76 homers in the event vs. just 19 for the National League.

The 2011 MLB All-Star game is tonight…

The lineups for tonight’s game have been set.  National League skipper Bruce Bochy and American League manager Ron Washington announced that the Phillies’ Roy Halladay and the Angels’ Jered Weaver will serve as the game’s starting pitchers.
