Improved Hiring Expected for Atlanta’s Job Market

ATLANTA (WAOK)-Metro Atlanta employers plan to significantly increase hiring in the third quarter, according to Tuesday’s Manpower Employment outlook survey.

The Job prospects appear to be improving in a number of industries, Manpower said. Openings are expected in areas such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, retail, information, and hospitality.

A Chicago-based manufacturing company is making a big contribution to this staffing increase. According to Bagcraft Papercon’s Vice President, Dan Vice, the company is expecting to bring about 196 jobs to Norcross with its plan to build a 225-thousand square foot building to support its Southeast warehousing and distribution operations.
