World renowned musician and Latino legend, Carlos Santana, came to Atlanta this weekend for the Civil Rights game held at Turner Field… but his presence brought a little more noise than musical notes!

“You should be ashamed of yourselves!” spewed Santana to baseball fans, but it was clear the message was directed at policy makers, and ESPECIALLY, Governor Nathan Deal!

We took up the immigration debate on POWERTALK w/ Lorraine Jacques White, and we had many mixed reviews regarding the subject and why it seems to be focusing on Mexicans and other Latino groups. The Sisters-In-Law, Attys. Janice & Daveda Mathis, were on hand to help guide the debate. Listen in and see if you agree!

  1. Sarah says:

Great show again Dr Lorraine and the sisters-in-law..Santana has a right as a person of Mexican decent, to complain about his particular ethnic group being put under the spotlight for racial profiling..Keep your picket lines and boycott going, the state will listen to your concerns…
