Woman Set on Fire in Kennesaw

Atlanta (WAOK)-At approximately 2 am. on Wednesday customers at a convenience store and gas station on Barrett Parkway witnessed a horrific site. According to Cobb County investigators, a suspect identified as 25 year old Morgan Elijah Yarbrough of Powder Springs, Georgia was involved in a verbal argument with his former girlfriend when he doused her with gasoline from one of the gas pumps and ignited it setting the woman on fire.

The suspect then fled in a black 2007 Dodge Charger R/T bearing Georgia tag AXC 8713. The victim was transported to a local hospital for
treatment of what are being described as severe burns to her body. Yarbrough turned himself in to police after 12 hours and now faces charges of Aggravated Assault (Intent to Murder-F), Aggravated Battery (Disfigure-F) and Arson (1st Degree-F). He is being held in the Cobb County jail without bond.

The victim,  identified as Rachel Brokaw had been in a long term relationship with Yarbrough.

    wow sorry to hear this, its really sad but true. People just dare numb to the feelings of others and until they are judged by 6 do they find some kind of remorse.
