Police Have New Leads In Pastor Moses Murder

Atlanta (WAOK) Thanks to a local mom Atlanta police are now narrowing in on a suspect in the murder of Pastor Derek Moses.

A mother told police that her child and another person stole Moses’ BMW and went joy riding. The two picked up the vehicle after it had been abandoned by someone else. According to Atlanta Police Detective Summer Benton the new information has helped police create a more accurate timeline.

The timeline will now place the murder suspects within hours of dropping off the vehicle, rather than the initial 48 hours. Atlanta Police are working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to determine if a set of fingerprints found in the car belong to the person who may have killed Moses.  Investigators still have not found a motive for why Pastor Derek Moses was killed. Moses was shot inside of his business last month.

There is a  $10,000 reward being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
