ATLANTA (WAOK) Two overseas companies are planning to move their headquarters to metro Atlanta. Reliance Worldwide Corp. based out of Australia, and Health Lean Logistics based in Barcelona, Spain plan to move their business to metro Atlanta to be closer to its U.S customers. The move will bring over 200 jobs to metro Atlanta. Neither company has put a timeline on the move or the building location. The companies state that the convenience of getting anywhere in the world via Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as a factor for making the decision to move to Atlanta.

Founded in 1949 Reliance Worldwide originally specialized in the design and manufacture of valves for the control of pressure, temperature and flow used in the installation of water heaters and water heating systems. Health Lean Logistics Atlanta operations will house management, marketing, finance,  human resources and project management, plus one or more logistics platforms to  service its regional customer base. Georgia Tech was a factor in picking Atlanta. HLL said it plans to partner with Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain and Logistics Institute to share expertise and collaborate on the institution’s logistics projects in Panama and Costa Rica.
