Bartow Wife And Mother Found

ATLANTA (WAOK)- Police in Bartow County are no longer searching for a woman who went missing last Friday.

Wazineh Suleiman went missing after she told her children she was going out to rent a movie. Suleiman’s husband Abed Suleiman told police when he returned home from a hunting trip he discovered his wife’s disappearance. Suleiman says the last text he received from his wife’s phone before her disappearance read “I’ll just throw my phone out the window.” Police recovered Wazineh Suleiman’s vehicle Tuesday not far from I-75 in Cherokee County.

Police called  Abed Suleiman in for questioning and uncovered records showing that the Suleiman’s have over $1.2 million dollars in debt. The couple filed chapter 7 bankruptcy last year. They were forced to surrender their rental properties in Florida among other assets.  After hours of questioning Abed Suleiman was released and was told he was not a suspect in the case. Police also questioned Abed Suleiman’s children and friend.

Wazineh Suleiman was located by a sheriff in another county on Thursday. The Bartow County sheriff called a news conference and told the media the case had been solved. No charges were filed.

She was probably hoping her husband would be charged with murder, insurance payout, or trying to find a scheme to get out of their debts…

Or maybe she just needed to get away for a while. For all we know her husband may have been overbearing, and with five children and that much debt, maybe she just needed a break. She probably knew that her kids would be safe with her husband and any other family, and she split to try and pretend that she can be another person for a bit. As long as she’s alright, I’d say the rest is none of anyone else’s business.

I don’t agree with Sarah. I think she became so overwhelmed by raising five children and the financial pressures become too much for her and she just simply couldn’t take it anymore. I believe she mentally checked out for a while….before she did something she would regret, which I can appreciate. Women have to bear the burden of raising the kids, taking care of the home and taking care of her husband usually without much of an outlet. A woman’s life is totally consumed trying to be everybody’s everything all the time. I knew she ran away the moment the story broke. Think about it, he’s off on a hunting trip, she’s left alone with the kids….wasn’t that spring break week? She needed a break and obviously had a mental break, which is why no charges were filed.
