Government Shutdown Averted in Late Night Agreement

ATLANTA (WAOK)  After many tense hours of discussion between Democrat and Republican leaders a threatened government shut down was averted late Friday night when another short term agreement was reached.

Here is the in depth report from CBS News

Locally the late night agreement means national parks and museums like the Martin Luther King Center and the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum will remain open and if you were waiting for a federal income tax refund, it should arrive as scheduled.
