Gwinnett County police have arrested two men they believe are responsible for several armored car robberies in the Metro area. Police arrested Stacey Dooley and Quinton Booker Wednesday morning near Peachtree Parkway at Wellington Lake Drive close to the Gwinnett-Fulton County line. According to an arrest warrant obtained by the AJC, police and the FBI say the men may have been casing another armored truck to rob when they were stopped. Both men have been charged with three counts of armed robbery. Dooley also faces two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Earlier this month an armored car courier was killed during a robbery at the Kroger Supermarket in Toco Hills. The FBI has not said whether the men are suspects in that case, however, Dooley and Booker are being charged in connection with three armored car heists in Gwinnett County.
