Amador Cortes-Meza will be spending time behind bars.

Cortes-Meza was sentenced to 40 years in prison, after he was caught trafficking young women into Atlanta as sex slaves. The girls, some as young as fourteen, were forced have sex with over a dozen men each night. Cortes-Meza lured his victims from Mexico promising them a better life, and in some cases marriage.  According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officer Brock Nicholson, the women also suffered physical abuse at the hand of Cortes-Meza.

United States Attorney Sally Yates says Cortes-Meza is looking at serving a sentence almost equal to life in prison.

According to prosecutors, Atlanta is among the cities in the United States that are hubs for sex trafficking.
