Dekalb County Principal Accused Of Fraud

A warrant for the arrest of former Stoneview Elementary School assistant principal Derrick Wooten has been issued. Wooten had his teachers manipulate attendance numbers, to make the school meet its Adequate Yearly Progress goals. According to DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James, the use of incorrect information causes problems for the children.

The fraud took place from December 2010 to January 2011.

Like I have been saying all along, Dekalb will be on SACS’s chopping block along with Atlanta & Clayton; maybe Henry County will be next since they are becoming predominantly black…If this principal did what is alledged, then he should be disciplined for his bad choices…
