A fourth grader at Thomson Elementary School in Northwest D.C could be charged with drug possession.
According to reports the student brought cocaine into the classroom and shared it with other students. Some of the children swallowed it, while others inhaled the drug. The incident happened Thursday. Four of the students involved were hospitalized. Police in Prince Georges County are looking into where the child came in contact with the drugs. Police believe he found the cocaine in the back of his step father’s car. Parents of children who attend Thomson were informed about the incident at the end of the school day.
