Miami and San Antonio hooked up a couple of weeks ago and the Spurs rolled to an easy 125-95 home win giving the Heat their worst loss of the season.

The same two teams were in action last night and as much as I hate to say it the Heat avenged their 30 point loss by handing the Spurs a lopsided 110-80 loss in South Beach.

A re-energized and much more aggressive Chris Bosh scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, Dwyane Wade scored 29 in the win.

LeBron James finished with 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds for the Heat, who with the win moved within two games of Eastern Conference front-runners Boston and Chicago.

After the game James said the Heat can’t savor this win for too long.

After losing five in a row the Heat are now winners of three straight versus the Lakers, Grizzlies and Spurs.

Tony Parker scored 18 points and Tim Duncan added 14 for the Spurs, who had won 15 of their last 18 against Miami.

Meanwhile, In the City of Angels…

Pau Gasol scored 23 points and Kobe Bryant scored 16 in the Lakers 97-84 win over the Orlando Magic last night.

The Lakers are an impressive 10-and-1 since the All-Star Break and the victory pulls them into an even tie with the Dallas Mavericks for 2nd place in the Western Conference.

Andrew Bynum finished the night with 10 points, a career high 18 rebounds and four blocks for the two-time defending NBA champions.

Bynum said it was a nice win, but it’s on to the next one…

Dwight Howard scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the Orlando loss.
