An Atlanta police officer was fired after a sexual encounter with a prostitute.
David McCallum was answering a call about a prostitute at an apartment complex. McCallum said at first he began to have sex with the woman, but stopped after things became uncomfortable.
Atlanta police Chief George Turner gave a graphic testimony as to what took place between McCallum and the prostitute. Chief Turner says McCallum’s conduct was inappropriate and that called for his dismissal.
McCallum is appealing his termination. The decision to re-instate him will be determined by a personnel board.
