First lady Michelle Obama says if she and President Barack Obama can mentor young people then so can corporate America. She has launched a Corporate Mentoring Challenge. Mrs. Obama says everyone “has got a little time” and can use it to encourage young people to stay on the right track. The first lady created a mentoring program for girls – and then the president came up with one for boys. Mrs. Obama joked that once she got the ball rolling, her husband “had to have his mentoring project.” But she added it’s all good – because they can now both encourage others to do the same.
