The FBI is offering a reward for information about a bomb found along the downtown route of the Martin Luther King Day parade in Spokane, Washington. The FBI says a backpack found Monday morning on a Martin Luther King Day parade route in Spokane contained a bomb.
Three contract workers found the backpack about a half-hour prior to the start of the parade and a police bomb squad neutralized the device.
While an FBI official says the bomb was functional and could have caused multiple casualties, FBI Special Agent Frank Harrill says the details of the nature of the bomb aren’t being released.
There were no casualities or injuries. A $20,000.00 reward is now being offered for information in the case.
