unemployment Ad Preys On Georgia Unemployed

A recent scam is preying on the unemployed in Georgia. The ad claims that Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, is hiring for various positions. Applicants are told they need no experience just $35 to apply. Some applicants found the fee to be suspicious and contacted the Georgia Department of Labor. Labor Commissioner Mike Thurmond says the ad is a scam.

The ad was distributed by American Careers a company out of Washington DC.

    Scumbags are heartless people. There are scammers every where. They used the Highway Patrol, the FBI, and God to try to clean your green from your jeans. For those who turned them in, good job. Not being funny folk.
