A federal judge approved the motion for the city to pay Eagle Bar plaintiffs $1,000,000.

The city had to pay up after patrons said they were illegally searched and arrested. Mayor Kasim Reed apologized to the plaintiffs and hopes the settlement would bring some healing to the city

The incident happened in 2009.

    Why? Do I need to say more about why this country is in the toilet? It has become the cesspool of the world. What use to be correct is now incorrect, and what use to be wrong is right.

    Looks like a big winfall for the attorneys on this case. I hope the plaintifs had the city pay the attorney separately and not out of their cut.
