Oprah has taught alot of people alot of things, including actress Julia Roberts.

Roberts was among those paying tribute to Winfrey last night at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington.

Roberts says she first learned about “a better fitting bra and a fascinating politician named Barack Obama”  on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Earlier in the evening, the honorees visited the White House and heard their praises from President Barack Obama.

Friend to Winfrey, John Travolta took the stage to host a mock version of Winfrey’s show with Barbara Walters as his guest.  Alec Baldwin introduced the tribute to former Beatle Paul McCartney.

Country singer Merle Haggard, Broadway composer Jerry Herman and dancer Bill T. Jones were also honored last night.
